1:00 pm Central Time - Dai Kaioshin

I have figured with so much time to spare, I would re-design v. 1.5 with a new layout! A massive task such as this requires me to give it v. 2.0 status instead of 1.5 status. The content will be expanded and added on to, and the picture archives fixed once and for all. DBI v. 2.0 should be compleated around this time next weekend or so.

Also Viz's 7th volume of Dragon Ball Z will be released some time this December.

The site is still down! I dont blame Mr. Ans for any of this, I blame Hostonce.com for being a terrible host with an extreme amount of downtime!

And another thing, I dont know if any of you have noticed, but over at dragonballz.com Goku doesnt have a mouth in the Flash version of him. You can see he has one in the html version, but not flash...hmm. I know its a small detail that no one but me would notice or care about, and is totaly rediculous to be spoken about, with no meaning what so ever and in technical terms is compleately null. But yeah I just thought I should tell you.

Ok, I uploaded to my new host and with help from Mr. Ans, was able to set up an awsome message board. This isnt the new site ur on right now, and i wont give u the URL to the new one till the weekend. Thats only because the host just got transfered to UNIX and they are inexperienced with it, because of that the site downtime is very high in average and would be extreamly inconveinient to you all. Once it settles down, ill give the new link.

Mr. Ans came through after all! I got my hosting and I can have my site open in 24 hours. The only thing is that...yeah im to busy untill the weekend. And Mr. Ans is only alowing me to have 1 full episode up at a time. To make up for this, I will be doing a episode of the day/week thing. Ill tell you when the next episode is gonna be uploaded, and from what times, you show up on time, and download to your hearts content.

I should have the site up by around...I would say about 8:00 am - 1:00 pm sunday, but yeah you will know when, cuz I will tell you when It happens, then provide a link in the news for a week. After that, this page will be shut down and replaced with a "click here to enter" page.

Ok, Mr. Ans (hosting man) says hes transfering to unix as we speak, once hes done, I will have my account and yeah, I'll upgrade to v. 1.5 and get on with the sites uploading, repairing, and adding needs. To be honest, im not exactly done with v. 1.5 anyways. There are still some bugs, imcomplete things, layout treatments, flash upgrades and file changes needed done, this is why I probebly wont upload till weekend, hopefully if I can work all night like I normally do I will have it up by sunday morning this comming weekend. I still have some work to do. So far, this is what I got done...

As you can see, I am about 50% done, so yeah I should be able to finish by the time I transfer. (its been more work than it seems)

Also, Dai Kaio has made us a nice flash intro that im currently editing for v. 1.5 and Ill realease it with the site. Also I can assur you that once I get my new hosting, I will have all my episodes, all my video, all my dbz multimeida (a huge collection) up on the site. Mr. Ans (the guy whoes hosting me) is worrysome about the bandwidth and space I will take up, but I have a backup plan if all else fails.

Alright now I am mad. 120 hours, no hosting although I was promised hosting in 24 hours it didnt come! I highly doubt that I will get hosting anytime soon, and If I do, I can only tranfer on weekends due to the limited time I have durring the week. Once again, I will do my best to get full episode hosting as soon as possible.

Q: Is this your only job Mr. Slug?
A:Brice Armstrong: As Lord Slug it is...Lord Slug is a full time job and I am proud of it!

Q: Do you do any other voices?
A:Brice Armstrong: I do the narration on Dragon Ball

Q: Do you watch DBZ every day?
A:Dr. Toymangla: I watch DBZ everyday and watch it closely, have you seen that show? It's wild, crazy!
    Brice Armstrong: I live Dragon Ball Z.

Q: How did you get this job as a voice for Lord Slug?
A:Brice Armstrong: They were looking for another pretty face when I walked in.

Q: How did you get involved with FUNimation, and will you be playing any roles in Yu Yu Hakusho and Blue Gender?
A:Brice Armstrong: I made FUNimation an offer they couldn't refuse. And after we carried out the horse's head, I started doing voices. As for Yu Yu and Blue    Gender, I do the voice of Mr. Takanaka on Yu Yu. As a reversal of type, he's actually a good guy. I have been told that there are parts waiting for me in future     Blue Gender episodes.

Q: Who's your favorite DBZ character, Brice?
A: Brice Armstrong: Lord Slug, of course - a thing of great personal beauty.

Q: Do you have any anime cels?
A: Brice Armstrong: I know what they are, but I don't own any.

Q: Do you like your job at FUNimation?
A: Brice Armstrong: When people ask me what I do, I say "I enjoy myself for a living". So... the answer is yes.

Q: Dr. Toymangla, how long did it take to make the Lord Slug toy?
A: Brice Armstrong: You take this one, Dr.
     Dr. Toymangla: We started on Lord Slug about 7 months ago. We worked with top sculptors to get Lord Slug perfected. He will be available in January

Q: Brice are you and Dr. Toymangla the same person?
A: Dr. Toymangla: Brice, you go first
    Brice Armstrong: Dr. Toymangla is a separate person, and I am at least 3 separate persons.
     Dr. Toymangla: IF Labs is my whole pursuit.

Q: Dr. Toymangla, what makes your toy so great?
A: Dr. Toymangla: On top of 100 plus paint operations and top quality sculpting, we have articulation, play value and real collectibility. These toys will be a great      blend of abs, hard plastics, and soft PVC's. All on a 9 inch scale, they will amaze, even the most jaded of you.

Q: Are you friends with any of the other DBZ voice actors?
     Brice Armstrong: We are all great personal friends, but I wish they'd keep their hands off my great personal.

Q: Well, Dr. Are you going to make a figure of Cooler and others from the DBZ movies?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: IF Labs is indeed a full line - Cooler from Movie 5 already looks outstanding. We will release three sets of four figures every year, and       probably crank it up from there. That's just talking Dragon Ball Z Movie Collection. We will also be releasing hyper detailed ultra reality versions of Yu Yu       Hakusho and Dragon Ball, I cant wait to show you guys these figures

Q: Lord Slug, what do you think of your new action figure?
A:  Brice Armstrong: I think it is outstanding. As a matter of fact, I just saw it outstanding in the hallway earlier. In fact I just saw the Lord Slug action figure beat the       heck out of all the other action figures.

Q: Beside DBZ, what anime do you like most, Brice?
A: Brice Armstrong: I honestly haven't seen much anime. Sorry. Lord Slug is far and away the best I've seen. I do, however, enjoy old movies...

Q: Dr., did you mess up on any of the prototypes and have to start over? If so how many times did it take to get it right?
A: Dr. Toymangla: No, not exactly mess up, but the process is very detailed, we worked and refined Lord Slug many times, this is part of the reason it takes      months to do. We work back and forth daily with the sculptors, others at FUNimation, and with the original creators in Japan, to make sure we capture the      essence of all these figures.

Q: Dr. Toymangla, can you describe the new Lord Slug figure?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: Lord Slug figures is based on the reborn younger more powerful form of Lord Slug, in fact the basis for the figure is the moment in the film when       Goku realizes that Lord Slug is a Namek. In fact he is a Super Namek. HAHaHA. Brice just said when he died he is a DY NAmic "die".

Q: What's it like being a voice actor for DBZ?
A:  Brice Armstrong: This is a tricky question... Interesting, because I am a different character each visit. Challenging, because the Japanese does not account for       the correct amount of English syllables. And FUN -- because it is the first job my kids like as much as I do.

Q: Dr. Toymangla, why did you begin with Lord Slug?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: We began with the evil Lord Slug because he undergoes such a great transformation, because Namek's are cool, and he will be an excellent       villain to collect. I really love what we did with the Lord Slug Movie, we turned this into one terrific flick, Slug deserved a figure and we gave him one.

Q: Do you ever use the Lord Slug voice when doing normal things (talking to people, ect)?
A:  Brice Armstrong: The voice really tears up the vocal cords, so no... not really. (However it does come in handy when ordering pizzas.)

Q: Dr. Toymangla, what DBZ character do you like?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: I like a lot. In fact, starting this toy company is a great opportunity to make these guys just like we want them, Cooler is one that came out really       well, he is huge, purple, and with his spiked armor, on both his headpiece and spikes he really casts a menacing shadow, and looks great on my shelf.

Q: What is your favorite thing about doing the voice work for Lord Slug?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: I like them a lot, one thing I've always wanted was a giant Saiyan ape

Q: Is your family a fan of DBZ?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: I the good Doctor will make all this happen and more, fans will be rocked by the things they will see.

Q: Do you have any tips for me if I want to get into the voice acting business?
A:  Brice Armstrong: It is a tough business to get into... But you might want to join a local theater group... Steve Allen, famous actor, author etc... used to look out       his window and try to describe what was happening out loud. So he could literally speak for an hour and never have a lack of things to say...

Q: Dr. Toymangla, why do you make toys?
A: Dr. Toymangla: I have an obsession with collecting. My father was actually part action figure, part man.

Q: Will you be going to any future conventions?
A:  Brice Armstrong: I suppose I would go if I was asked. We will see.
      Dr. Toymangla: I will in fact be at Toy Fair NY in February.

Q: How long have you been voice acting?
A: Brice Armstrong: Boy... it's another 'how old are you' question, eh... If I didn't tell Woodrow Wilson, why would I tell you?

Q: What upcoming movie characters do you plan to make?
A: Dr. Toymangla: Cooler from Movie 5, Battle Damaged Piccolo from Movie 5, Super Saiyan Battle Damaged Goku from Movie 5, Meta-Cooler from Movie 6,      Battle Damaged SS Vegeta, Space suit Goku, Space suit Krillin, Yu Yu Hakusho, many from Dragonball, Master Roshi, Bulma, Shu and Pilaf, son Goku with Boss Rabbit

Q: When do you plan to release the other figures?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: January for the first wave of DBZ Movie Collection, March for Yu Yu Hakusho line one, and March for Dragonball line one. A second wave of       all in the mid summer. And yet more before the end of the year, it will be huge I tell ya.

Q: What are your favorite movies?
A:  Brice Armstrong: Old movies... "Palm Beach Story", "Citizen Kane", "Lady Eve", "Red River". ... stuff like that.
      Dr. Toymangla: Where is my pudding?

Q: When will they release another Gotenks toy?
A: Brice Armstrong: (hands the good doctor a cup of vanilla)
     Dr. Toymangla: Well, I must say our friends at Irwin do have another Gotenks coming up.

Q: Dr. Toymangla, who is your favorite Super Saiyan?
A: Dr. Toymangla: I love Vanilla, it is the most special of flavors. My favorite Super Saiyan, is Broly, he will blow your mind.

Q: If you were not voice acting what would you be doing with your life?
 A: Brice Armstrong: I think cringing somewhere in a corner, crying my eyes out.

Q: How do you change your voice so drastically from normal Lord Slug to Super-Namek Lord Slug?
A:  Brice Armstrong: Ah... It was a little electronically enhanced.

Q: Dr. Toymangla what are your ideas for the future?
A: Dr. Toymangla: I can see cities of light... Actually, we have many plans. We are making , actually burning the midnight oils on many new toys. The Yu Yu Toys      are going to surprise a lot of you: one because anime fans will be in love with this show, and two because our figures for Yu Yu Hakusho are spankingly cool.      What did i just say? Spankingly Cool!
     Brice Armstrong: (moves away from the Doctor...)

Q: Do the DBZ Movie figures come with accessories?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: Lord Slug comes with a great cape and cowl. We are spending the cash on paint and detail.

Q: So do you play any instruments?
A: Brice Armstrong: No.

Q: What are your favorite books?
A:  Dr. Toymangla: Catcher in the Rye
      Brice Armstrong: "Harry Potter."
      Dr. Toymangla: I like Yu Yu Hakusho the manga

Q: Mr. Toymangla what is your favorite Irwin action figure?
A: Dr. Toymangla: Dr. Toymangla�manners! Android 19 is by far my favorite, this is from their new series.

Q: Are you anything like the character you play?
A: Brice Armstrong: With the exception of the muscles and the green skin... no.

Q: Are you proud of the new Lord Slug action figure?
A: Dr. Toymangla: Very much, very happy with all of them, starting a new toy company is quite a thing to do. But I love what we have accomplished. These figures      are truly unmatched
     Brice Armstrong: Philosophers who say 'perfection is unachievable' have not yet seen the Lord Slug Action figure.

Q: Was being Lord Slug interesting?
A:  Brice Armstrong: It was heart-pounding a throat-ripping. Seriously... villains are ALWAYS more interesting.

Q: Are you going to be in any other DBZ movies?
A:  Brice Armstrong: That is up to GOD, Chris and Justin.
     Dr. Toymangla: I must add the Brice is an amazing narrator for Dragonball. I love his work.
     Brice Armstrong: Thank you Dr� Very nice.

Q: What is your feedback on the toys?
     Dr. Toymangla: We are having the Atari 2600 tabulate the results now. Actually, so far they are overwhelmingly positive almost all saying "Awesome". I would      like to thank the fans for all of their input on this. We as a company will truly involve the fans and hope to please them with all that we do.

Q: How long did it take you to record the voice for Lord Slug?
A:  Brice Armstrong: About 2, two hour sessions. Then two weeks of recovery.

Lots of flash done, however I am starting to worry about that new hosting I was promised...u see, I was told 24 - 48 hours max., but now it has been 96 hours and I am still hostless, u wann complain thats ok the guys site who siad he would host me is ans-network.com so yeah, send him all the complains about this hosting. I promise you that once the hosting is available, I will have the site up in an hour, so I am doing my job, but hostonce isnt doing theirs.

k, I got alot done so far. I got the whole site upgraded to shtml with ssi. And I made a flash intro, its not the greatest, but some of the new sections comming with v. 1.5 are. The only one im gonna tell you about is the "Private Stash" section. Bascily a section for humor and other cool stuff for people 13+ years old, or 12 and under for thoes with irrisponsible parents, (jokin'). Yeah, im not telling u exactly whats in it, but it will be good.

Also, any sections not done now, will be done. The release date, is well I cant say for sure, cuz my new server is taking forever to set up, but its worth the wait cuz ill be on unix! And if u know more than my lil bro bout computers, u should know thats good. If u dont, its good cuz unix supports practicly everything and there is a 26% less chance of server orriented website problems. This should also mean faster downloads for all you. I may get extra mirrors for even faster speeds.

Well, back to work...

Alright, I will be psoting updates at will here to keep you informed on my upgrade process. First is first, change all frames, and other stuff changed daily to SSI. Second, upgrade layout to be netscape compatable. Third, update the graphics, fourth, debug html, fifth, convert to xhtml, sixth, include flash, seventh, debug again, and last, upload to new host, along with full episodes and all my pics.

I have ALOT! to do this weekend so yeah, my weekend starts today cuz no school for me tomorrow. The work begins...

Hopefully I can move in 24 hours but I wont officialy move till the weekend, if the new account is ready for me by then. I still have to do a SSI upgrade and aother stuff to, but yeah Full Episiodes are comming. Plus im not gonna ave forced voting either!

Sorry, late updtae today, but I dont really have anything new to add. Except that I am "trying" to learn a thing or two about 3D-animation. Also Comming sometime this weekend, DBI V. 1.5 I have decided to upgrade this site to use SSI (server side includes) and it should run much easyer that way.

Just a quick note, for the next 30 minutes or so, im playing with the voting banners and stuff, because I cant have them in frames. Thus I gotta remove them remodle the sidebar, and put them back with a new account. Ok, I have started V. 1.0 Advanced! Yes thats right, all you DSL, and Cable users will have a better verison where I can have unlimited imagination and creativity. Its still in pre-development and probly wont be done till christmas or so, but I will keep you informed on it till its launch.

Also, this is my last update till late Sunday. As I said, im going to my grammas so yeah, I can update till I get back. Fortuanly this will be, say a longer update than usual to make up for me not being here for the weekend. Unfortuantly though, I wasnt able to contact Dai Kaioshin, so yeah. Hmm, ill tell y'all a secret here...When I gave up my position as president, and gave it to him (former Kaioshin) I expected updates from him to ^_^ well, im gonna ask for my spot back, lol, he better give it back to.

Oh and another thing, our mailing list has been, well out of order for the past while, and dispite the many signups, your gonna have to re signup when I get it working again.

For any of you who are canadian veiwers, they apparently censored king kia's remard to west kai. U know, he was supposed to say (and kids, plug ur ears, lol) you just wait and see you fat fucking half pint! but unfortuantly, they just put you just wait and see you fat tubby half pint! thus ruining the effect. Im not american so I dont know, but I heard that they didnt censor that on CN, which is why american T.V. is better.

Dragonball TOP 50 has exactly 10 days to fix there seveer problems, or good-bye to them. They quit awhile ago and started displaying stuff wrong, and most likely, they dont even know about the problem. I think its the undefeatability of Planetnamek that did this, lol. They probly made another version where the same site isnt #1 for a year straight.

Now, 11 days after we opended up, you can finaly send us, links, fan art, ur own dbz stories, or anything else that was mentioned that you couldnt send on the first update. Please refer to the Old News secion, the updates at the bottom.

Nothin' much new going on today, exept that for the weekend im gonna be at my grammas place, so yeah now computer there so I cant update. Hopefully I can contact Dai Kaioshin before then and get him working for the weekend. Also, this isnt official yet but I have been thinking of an advanced version of this site for ISDN, CABLE, DSL, T1, T2, T3 ect... users with fast connection rates. Basicly it would be a better looking layout, enhanced with flash and background music that ur able to turn on and off. The news and content would be the same anyways, for the most part, I could run that one, and Dai Kaioshin could run this one. However, it would take some time to build as I may need Dai Kaio's help with the flash. If I do start building this, 56K and under users will have to use this current one. Even though the advanced verison is open to 56K and under users, it will take some time to load for you.

There is a possiblility of my full episodes going up tommorow, if i work early in the morning they will be uploaded on other accounts for you to download. I will notify you all in the news if any do go up and if they do it will be for a limited time only. Also there is another slight possiblility of a server move and a domain name being baught. I will give at least a weeks warning before attempting any of this so you wont be wondering where the site is. Also dont miss the new Weird Emails section that will be uploaded periodicly.

Ok, now I got a few pics on the first page of the image gallery to work, fixed the colors on the xbox page and got ya some screensavers (7 in all). The Windows Media Player skins are comming a lil later on today as well as the remaining vids, Goku Goes SSJ and Goku Makes a Spirit Bomb as a SSJ. Got up the Winamp skins for ya. Media player skins are comming soon as well as screensavers not to far off either. Also, please vote for us at anime top 100 and dbz top 100. and also, plese click on the ad at the bottom of this page. Doing so will help us gain profit from this site and allow us enough money to be able to host the full episodes. Alright, like I said, I got the MSN page and picture galery up. Now The gallery has say alot of bugs on it and the whole first page wont display, but the second one does. I will fix this later. The Winamp, Media Player skins are comming as well as some screensavers and I should have out chat room up in no time at all. The message Board, wont be up untill we can afford to pay for a host. Neither will the episodes or movies untill a payed host can be afforded.
Note: Please try to bear with all thoes ads, I will talk to tripod about one poping up per frame, not per page.

This is formerly Dai Kaioshin speaking. I just wanted to inform you all that I am no longer presedent and am only a staff member now. The new presedent is David Cook. Anyways im sorry for the lack of updating but I am not feeling so well right now but I will try to update as I can. Sorry, still no full eps but we do have all the vid clips, exept for Gokus first SSJ transformation.

Another side note: The DBZ Top 50 is screwing up, we are not really in position #22 it is just displaying that so for now bear with it. Planetnamek is seeing whats wrong, and knowing them, its gonna be fixed. Also I will have some more sections including the MSN page and picture galery up soon so keep comingf back every couple hours, like maybe once or twice a day and see when there up, most likely sometime before monday I hope.
